Description by the editorial board

From creator and co-founder, Rainer Becker, Roka offers award-winning Japanese robatayaki cuisine just moments from the Strand, and minutes from Covent Garden and Somerset House.

This is the fourth of the Roka restaurants to open in London.
Roka is a meeting place where food and drinks are shared with friends amid the warmth and all-embracing energy surround (ka).

The principle cuisine is from the robata grill, which complements other dishes such as sushi, sashimi, salads, tataki and tempura. If guests are unable to make a decision, they can pick from one of the tasting menus.

To finish, we would recommend one of Roka’s iconic dessert platters.

Roka Aldwych has recently launched the Han Setto brunch menu on Sundays.
Designed as an alternative for Londoners from the conventional Sunday brunch, the menu includes a seasonal bellini on arrival, an extensive selection of Roka dishes and wine throughout, for £55.

The menu is also available at £39, without wines.
